Stupid people/lunch time rant

So, as I'm sitting here in Burger King ( I know its not healthy, but that's a whole other story), a family comes in with 3 toddlers. I'm the only one in the restaurant. They proceed to sit next to me and their kids are bouncing up and down on the booth. I've already been hit three times.

Next guy comes in, and proceeds to ask the lady what a whopper is, as he's staring at the picture. You know, the same fucking burger they've been making since 1957 (thanks Wikipedia!). Then this guy sees the advertising for a $1.49 burger. With only the picture of the burger. And he's surprised it doesn't come with fries and a drink for the $1.49. This wasn't an old timer. This was someone with three more kids in tow (also being obnoxious) and was in his late 20s probably.

It boggles my mind how some people can breathe on their own. And we're doomed as a country if this is what the education system turned out. There's more I want to say, but I'll just leave it at that.

In the US you really need to learn stuff out of school. I've learned more on my own out of school innsone stuff than in school. But buy me some chicken fries??

They should definitely add 'the history of fast food' and 'common fast food items' as courses to the elementary school curriculum so as not to annoy the real connoisseurs.

Surprisingly enough, my wife had never been in a fast food restaurant until college. She was raised a staunch hippie idealist. She probably knew that a Whopper was Burger King's signature burger but probably had no idea how big it was or what toppings it had. She has since been normalized.

I was at a BK w/ a friend one day when I was in college. In walks homeless guy #1. HE demands money from my firend. Imediately a BK worker comes over to get him to leave. The guy becomes agnry and yells at both my firend and the worker on his way out. In comes homeless guy #2. His pants were arround his ankles and heading to us. My friend bails on her lunch, jumps the back of the booth and sprints to the door. I grab my burger and follow. O homeless guy #2 was covered in shit from the waiste down.

Wow, reading comprehension must not be your strong suit. Where did I say I was entitled to anything? I was just commenting on the fact that there are people in this world who are:

A. Clueless to other people in the world and can't control their little hellraisers, and don't have the common decency to think other people might not want to deal with their shit.

And

B. Know what you want before you get to the counter. And learn to fucking read.

That's not entitlement. That's being a conscious member of society.

when i was younger i would eat the shit outta some chicken fries...but now that i'm a little older i feel like there's plenty in them that i just don't want to ingest...there were pretty good though, as far as fast food fried chicken nugget type things go

My friend told me a story recently where they were waiting in line for McDonalds in an absolutely packed house (possibly around comicon if i'm remembering correctly.)

Anyway the family behind him has this kid that is just absolutely being a little shit, bouncing off walls, yelling and screaming and in particular WONT SHUT UP ABOUT HOW MUCH HE WANTS A GODDAMN APPLE PIE.

So friend deals with it, everyone is annoyed but whatever. When it's my friend's turn in line, he orders his meal and then goes "oh, and i'd like all of your apple pies please." Straight up drops 20 dollars or whatever and buys them out of apple pie. Take that obnoxious fucking kid.

on the one hand, my friend is a huge asshole. On the other, it's pretty fucking hilarious.

Every time I see teen parents I think of the beginning of that movie, where it shows the unintelligent and undereducated family reproducing like bunnies vs. the intelligent, educated family waiting to have babies. The future is NOW!!!
